MP3 DOWNLOAD PROBLEMS
If you are using some versions of Netscape or another non-MP3 friendly browser you may run into a couple of problems trying to download MP3 files from this site.

First Common Problem:
The MP3 link is bringing up a page of gibberish instead of the download prompt.

Fix: PC users right click on the MP3 link and select the "save link as" option.  Mac users should hold down the shift key and then click on the link to get the desired menu option.   Chances are after this you will likely encounter the second common MP3 download problem, since Netscape doesn't always handle these files too gently.

Second Common Problem:
A downloaded MP3 file sounds distorted.  Usually the file ends up sounding like bubbling water instead of the expected song.

Fix: This is such a common problem with MP3s that someone has come up with a simple program to fix these "Cooked" MP3's.  You can find a copy of this program called "Uncook" at MP3.com. Once you download the correct version (Windows 95, DOS, etc) the program is self explanatory.
